Discovery #1

Today, after like 12 hours of sleep, it finally felt like I was in France. I think it was when we went to the grocery store, where everything was in French, and chocolate was in 90% of the cereals. Or maybe it was when we tried to talk to some dude at the cell phone place (who had the best English of all the workers, which actually wasn't that bad) and he had no clue what we were saying, while his coworkers laughed at the conversation we were trying to have with and while also hating on us for being American. Or it could have been when we were exploring downtown Metz and came across a bakery every 10 shops (not exaggerating), and later getting kicked off a bus with no idea why (it was the last stop as we later discovered). Either way, I made a discovery: I need to learn some French to get around this place.
