The Arrival


So, after a long week of packing (and by that, I obviously mean procrastinating) and getting little to no sleep for the past couple days, I am finally moved into my dorm in Metz, France. It took a car, two airplanes, a subway, a train, and a taxi to get me here, but I'm here nonetheless. Here are a few pictures of my room for the next four months.







Since this is my first post, I feel like I should make a disclaimer. I'm not really sure what the purpose of this blog is - it could be to keep people at home up to date with my life (and let you guys know I'm alive and stuff), maybe to give me a way to remember what I did here, or maybe just a way to pass time. Maybe I think I'll learn something about myself, maybe it will reveal something about me to you, or vice versa. We can just call it a social experiment or something - I don't really know. But I'm starting it, and hopefully, I will keep up with it.

    Ankush!!! I'm soo glad you're doing this blog! I really really like the room. Since you're taking a bunch of dumb classes, you should use the extra time and mini kitchen to learn how to cook! You should post pics after you're all moved in and stuff too. I can just picture My Ishmael on that shelf near your bed! Actually, I can't since I still have it. You're mad that the first thought I had when I saw that stupid HP on your desk was a bitter hateful annoyance that you got the only one on the planet that still works -_-.

    Also, thanks for the disclaimer. The purpose is obviously ALL of those things! And you BETTER keep up with it! Can't wait to read all your posts!!!

    I'm liking the new background Ankush, and the name lol. Mmk, you better keep updating fool, that way I can give you tips about where to visit, cuz I know all about Europe like that! Add that to the purpose statement for this blog that you have. Also, I don't think we can find out more about you till you start leaving secrets of yours hidden in these blog posts, so get on that buddy. :)

    By the way, the heck, these dorms are so much better than actual Tech ones! Seem so posh and cool in comparison(wood floors!). Can't say the outside doesn't look gloomy though. :/ Anyway, that's all for now. Au Revoir! (Bye in French, better start picking up some French, btw).
